August 2013, Volume 3, Issue 8

Happy August, SynerLINK friends,

Don’t forget to register for one of my two Colorado 7 Foundations Retreats in August.  These day-long retreats will teach you how to live your ideal life by learning to balance all 7 Foundations.  Please see below for all the details or check out the flyer here: http://www.synergeniusconsulting.com/images/LifeBalanceRetreat2013.jpg.

As a SynerLINK community member, you qualify for special discounts on these programs. Feel free to share these discount codes with your friends, family, and colleagues, as well.  For the Colorado retreats, simply enter the code SYNERLINK and receive $25 off the regular registration price OR bring a friend and you BOTH get $25 off your registration.

As I mentioned in my earlier email, all Retreat attendees will receive a copy of my brand-new book, 7 Foundations of Health and Happiness: Building a Bridge to Balance, making this special price an even better deal for you and your friends.

This event is a great opportunity to re-connect with yourself and improve your life balance before your hectic fall schedule gets underway.  Please forward this email and the attached flyer to friends and family you feel could benefit from an introduction to the 7 Foundations.

Hope to see you in Colorado this month!

My favorite article this month isn’t an article – it’s a video.  This Science of Happiness film shows the power of gratitude to impact your own happiness – not just the person you are grateful to.  I recommend this practice to clients frequently.  This 7 minute video is well worth a watch – just be sure to grab your handkerchief first. (warning: couple of swear words made it past the “beep” towards the end.)

If you enjoy the newsletter, please forward to friends or colleagues who may enjoy receiving it, as well.  They can click the links at the bottom of this newsletter to subscribe, or to follow us on Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn, or go to our home page: www.synergeniusconsulting.com.

As always, I welcome suggestions, comments, or interesting links.  Please send to:  chelgason@synergeniusconsulting.com.

Best wishes for your health and happiness,

Chanel Helgason, MD
